Amazon-Prime Video & Twitter Live-streams Exclusive Q&A with Comicstaan-cast

Twitter is where entertainment conversations happen, while Amazon Prime Video is the most trending brand tapping into the global entertainment fan community. The two platforms come in to collaboration to live-stream a special cast Q&A for its upcoming comedy reality TV series Comicstaan on Twitter, throwing out a golden opportunity for its fans in India and across the globe to view the show live and be able to directly engage with the Comicstaan star-cast. The collaborating- duo Twitter and Amazon Prime Video are all set to electrify their world-wide fan community engrossing them into a world full of high-spirited entertainment.



Commenting on the collaboration, Soumya Parmar, Head of Video Solutions for Twitter India, said, “Twitter is where people come to find out what’s happening and we are thrilled to collaborate with Amazon Prime Video to provide fans with a live-stream experience that lets them watch some of the Comicstaan talent live, as they banter about and give them an insight into what it really takes to “crack a good joke”.



Comicstaan the nine-episode series brings together seven among the biggest comedians in India to find the next big-name in stand-up. A nation-wide search shortlisted ten budding stand-up comedians, whose stomach-gripping humor caught the attention of the jury.



Live-streaming this Friday the 13th of July (2018) at 8PM, Twitter (India) in collaboration with Amazon Prime Video (India) stages Prajakta Koli hosting the exclusive Q&A series featuring Abish Mathew, Naveen Richard, Sumukhi Suresh and Sapna Verma in the show. As part of the live-stream Q&A, the comedians will provide its viewers with guidelines on how to mentor someone on cracking a good joke. The fans and viewers also receive a chance to join in the live-stream experience by Tweeting their questions for the Comicstaan cast with its Twitter-handle #ComicstaanLIVE and join in to the conversation.



Furthermore the live-stream Q&A will be accessible through @comicstaan and @PrimeVideoIN to both its logged-in and logged-out audiences, and includes a real-time curated timeline of tweets involving a live conversation surrounding the comedy show.
