Videocon To Launch Jelly Bean Tablet for Rs.5965


Bangalore: Consumer electronics company Videocon is all set to enter the affordable tablet segment with its Videocon VT75C.



The tablet has already been listed on online retailers like FlipKart as ‘coming soon’ and Infibeam has put it on sale for Rs.5965.



For grabbers out there, the new Videocon VT75C comes with 7 inch LCD capacitive touch screen of 800 x 480p resolution. It has a 1GHz processor, coupled with a 512 MB RAM, running on Android 4.1 Jelly bean, out of the box. The internal storage of the tablet is 4 GB and can be expandable to 32GB.



The tablet has a 2 megapixel rear camera and a 0.3 megapixel front camera. Wi-Fi, 3G, Bluetooth, HDMI and USB 2.0 are the connectivity options in the device. There are many preinstalled apps available on the tablet like Notepad, Media Library, Skype, Games, Facebook, YouTube, Saavn, Movie Studio, G Talk and Instant Messaging. The tablet is powered by a 3000mAh battery.



Videocon has previously offered VT10 and VT71 tablets in the Indian shelves. VT10 is priced at Rs.10, 999 and VT71 costs Rs.4, 799 as reported by NDTV.
