These 23 Devices Got Price Cut in August

Bangalore: We always think of buying those newly released handsets but our budget doesn’t allow doing it. As the new products enter the market, many old smartphones have stepped back to survive in the market with a price cut. Here is a list of such smartphones and tablets which reduced their price last month. The list contains 21 smartphones and 2 tablets, Sony and BlackBerry leads the list by reducing price of five devices each, Samsung comes second by four products and while HTC dropped price for three devices.

1. Samsung Galaxy S Advance

Old Price: Rs.22,900 New Price: Rs.19,500

Samsung recently launched this smartphone which sports a 4.0 inch WVGA Super AMOLED display with a resolution of 480x800, 1 GHz Dual-Core processor, runs on Android 2.3 Gingerbread operating system with Samsung TouchWiz user interface. It also features 5 MP rear camera with autofocus and LED Flash, 1.3 Megapixel front facing Camera, 8 or 16GB internal memory and  microSD card support up to 32GB.

2. Samsung Galaxy Ace Duos

Old Price: Rs.13,500 New Price: Rs.12,000

Samsung Galaxy Ace Duos is a sophisticated and a powerful device which provides the user an ergonomic and a comfortable experience. It comes with Dual-SIM Dual-Active technology that allows consumers to be available on CDMA and GSM numbers.

The device is powered with 832 MHz processor, 512 MB of RAM and runs on Android 2.3 Gingerbread operating system. It sports 3.5 inch HVGA 320x480 pixel LCD touchscreen, 5 MP autofocus camera, 3 GB internal memory and a microSD card slot for expendable memory up to 32 GB. For connectivity it supports 3G, HSDPA, Wi-Fi and Bluetooth 3.0.
