Panasonic Unveils Toughbook for Business People

Bangalore: Panasonic unveiled its new range of Toughbooks for businesses in India, at the Panasonic Experience Centre in Mumbai. It offers a range of Toughbooks under the categories of Fully-rugged and Semi-rugged for Field Mobile PCs and also claims that it can withstand drops, spills, dust and grime.
The next-generation Toughbook model CF-53 is a part of the semi-ruggedized range and therefore, is balanced between durability and performance. Weighing 2.65 kg and featuring a 14 inches LCD, the Toughbook is powered by a second generation Intel core processor.
It also features a spill resistant keyboard and new wide touchpad with multi-touch function. The company claims battery life up to 10 hours. The Toughbook has an integrated handle and comes with a 3-year warranty. The device will be available in the market at a price less than Rs.1,00,000.
