Karbonn Launching SmartTab 2 for Rs.6,990

Bangalore: With every new dawn we find a new tablet in the tablet market. Karbonn is at it again when they launched their new gadget into the Indian market. The new Karbonn Smart Tab 2 has already found its way to certain online portals like Snapdeal.com where the tablet is available at a discounted price of Rs.6,990. But in the market the same tablet would be available at Rs.1000 more, Rs.7,990.

To refresh our memory, this very tablet caused a happy stir in the gadget world because Karbonn promised the users that the Smart Tab 2 would be available with a Jelly Bean update. If Karbonn sticks by their words Smart Tab 2 would be the first ever budget tablet to come with a Jelly Bean operating system.

The Tab 2 comes with a 7-inch Capacitive 5 point multi touch screen. The tablet will be powered with a 1.2 GHz Xburst processor and a 3700 mAh battery. With a 3700 mAh battery the tablet promises its users with 25 hours of playback time. It also comes with Wi-Fi and HDMI support. It comes with a 2 mega pixel camera and an internal memory of 4 GB which is expandable up to 32 GB with a slot for a microSD card.

If we thought that all was that Karbonn had in store for us! Well think again, Karbonn is expected to release a 9.7-inch tablet in September which will also come with an Android Jelly Bean operating system.
