Apple Kills iPhone 5; New Models To Reach India On November 1st

Bangalore: With the latest Apple models, iPhone 5S and 5C reaching india on November first week, the makers have decided to discontinue iPhone 5, the current leader in the market. Taking off iPhone 5 leaves only iPhone 4S in the pedigree, which has recently got a reduction of Rs.7000 and is retailing for Rs. 31,500 now. The strategy is considered to be a step to boost the sales of the new models.



Airtel and Reliance will be distributing the new Apple models in the country. iPhone 5S comes with major upgrades including the Apple-designed A7 64-bit chip, 8 megapixel iSight camera with True Tone flash and Touch ID fingerprint sensor, it will retailing for Rs.53500. On the other hand iPhone 5C, which will retail at Rs.41,900 has almost the same specs as iPhone 5 however comes in different color variants.
