Xiaomi Redmi 1S has a 720p display measuring 4.7-inch which is the biggest among the three smartphones in the list. It has wide viewing angles, vibrant colours, optimum brightness levels and good sunlight legibility. The display panel is protected by Asahi Dragontrail glass.

Micromax Canvas A1, on the other hand, has the poorest display resolution at 480x854p on a 4.5-inch screen making the pixilation very poor on it. It’s viewing angles, sunlight legibility and brightness levels were however very good.

The display panel’s colour reproduction is slightly slower than that of both Xiaomi Redmi 1S and Moto E where the display of this Micromax phone is most susceptible to scratches as it has no added protection like the Gorilla Glass or Dragontrail. Same goes for the Spice and Karbonn Android One smartphones too.

The Moto E sports a 4.3-inch display with 540x960p resolution but the colour saturation is pretty good. Therefore, it does not harm the experience while watching videos and reading texts where Brightness levels and sunlight legibility are as good as that of Xiaomi Redmi 1S.

When it comes to viewing angles the Moto E is the worst among the three smartphones though the Moto E’s display is protected by a Gorilla Glass 3.
