BANGALORE: Smartphones are the centre of our daily life and no work is done without involving them. Basing on the importance of Smartphones some start-ups have concentrated on boosting the productivity of the devices. Here are some gadgets that are innovative to the core and with a trial of something new, reports ET.
Nikola Charge Harvester

The one big problem with Smartphones is that they drain power due to various app usage and need to be charged frequently. Taking this issue as a working point, the scientists at U.S. based-Nikola Labs are in process of making a Smartphone case that will harvest radio frequency signals and feed it back as DC power to the battery.
Of the radio signals that the phone transmits only a percentage is used and remaining is wasted, so the signals are being converted into power using a patent-pending technology by Nikola Labs. Preliminary search results show that with the harvester around 30 pct charge is boosted.
The Charge Harvester’s will be first released for iPhone 6 and Samsung Galaxy S6 and soon for other devices as well.
