5 Smartphone Trends at Mobile Show 2012

Bangalore: Smartphone makers are defining new trends in the smartphone realm by introducing Quad-core processors and huge, high definition screens at the Mobile World Congress. Here are the five major technological trends showcased in this year’s show.



1. Quad-core Processors:



By this year smartphones are going to be much faster and efficient than your PCs. Major Smartphone manufacturers have launched products which comes with powerful Quad-core chips. LG Optimus 4X HD, HTC One X and ZTE’s Era are the attention grabbers in this category, all these smartphones comes with an Nvidia Tegra 3 Quad-core processor. Huawei has taken a bold step forward by developing an in-house Quad-core chip ‘K3V2’ which is used in its new phones named Ascend D Quad and Ascend D Quad XL phones.
