This second generation tablet from Samsung offers 3G connectivity and runs on the latest Android 4.0 (ICS) operating system along with Samsung’s custom TouchWiz user interface. The 7-inch screen has 1024 x 600 pixel resolution and the tablet comes powered with 1 GHz ARM Cortex dual-core mobile processor. It sports a 3MP rear camera, front VGA camera for video chatting, 16 GB onboard memory which is expandable to 32GB with microSD card and USB 2.0 port. The device supports Bluetooth, Wi-Fi and DLAN.
Pros: A high-end tablet with Android 4.0 (ICS) for this price tag is pleasing. Many advanced features when compared to Amazon’s Kindle.
Cons: When compared to other tablets with PLS displays, the Galaxy Tab-2’s screen is a mediocre. The camera performance is also lacking.
