100X.VC Announces List of 10 Startups Chosen for Class 03


Early stage venture fund, 100X.VC has announced the names of 10 seed stage startups chosen for the fund’s Class 03 portfolio. The startups were handpicked from 1,677 applications, out of which, 303 applicants had passed the meticulous initial diligence process. Chosen startups are from varied industry verticals including AI, Robotics, F&B, EdTech, SaaS, and Healthcare among others.



Based in Mumbai, 100X.VC is a fund that invests in early stage startups using iSAFE - India SAFE Notes. The fund is sponsored by Mehta Ventures, the Family Office Investment arm of Sanjay Mehta. The fund plans to invest INR 25 crores across 100 startups to unlock the true growth potential of the Indian seed-stage startups this year.



Startups handpicked for 100X.VC’s Class 03 have received investments worth INR 25 lakh via founder-friendly iSAFE (India Simple Agreement for Equity) notes. As part of their finishing school, all portfolio companies got the opportunity to closely interact with the 100X.VC team. They also attended over 100 hours of Masterclass sessions by 50+ expert mentors, industry veterans, successful founders, and venture capitalists who shared their in-depth insights about the startup ecosystem.



Speaking on the development, Ninad Karpe, Partner, 100X.VC said, “2021 is off to a good start. After receiving and reviewing 1677 applications for Class 03, we carefully selected only 10 startups.
