Tomorrow we will embrace our 72nd independence day. Our Honourable Prime minister Narendra Modi will raise the tricolor from the beautiful Red Fort, and yet again we will  mesmerize in the memories, witnessing the beauty of our National flag that will be beating the hot spells & fighting the blowing wind just like our freedom fighters fought against British – ceaselessly & uncompromisingly. Our hands will spontaneously rise to our forehead, saluting our prestigious flag & freedom fighters.

While we can't pay them back for their struggles, yet we can eternally sing about their courage and the struggles they underwent. The time can’t get any better to watch their stories on screen. In respect to all their struggles, we bring you a bunch of movies based on the freedom struggle.

Well, everyone in our country and even people beyond the border acknowledge the freedom struggle of Mohandas Karamchand Gandhi, Father of our Nation. This Hollywood movie traces Gandhi's life from South Africa as a lawyer to becoming the leader of India’s non-violent protest against the colonial rule, and eventually his murder by Nathuram Godse. The film was bestowed with eight awards at the Academy Awards in 1983.
