Bangalore: Recently the IT industry has been subjected to a lot of up’s and down’s. And because of that IT giants are right now a bit cautious in tech-investments. This alertness has created a massive shrink in recent IT budgets. For instance the U.S President Barrack Obama has requested for a 0.7 percent cut of the government’s 2012 annual budget as an initiation for the development of IT industry. So by that more and more leaders are now developing their presentation skills, as it’s clear that a strong presentation can always lead to a good sign.

1. Shift your thinking:
IT leads always like to boast about their upcoming products. But before starting, one thing that every IT professional need to do is giving the audience a good picture about the product. Start with too much of details, then be prepared to lose control of the meeting. Rick Gilbert, founder of PowerSpeaking, an executive training and coaching firm in California, says that "C-level executives tend to be very bright and can change the timing and the focus of the meeting in an instant. If a mid-level manager goes in and doesn't expect that, they can be completely knocked off base."
