Akums Awarded with Prestigious Business Leadership Award at the National CSR Summit and Awards

On the 2nd of August 2018 Akum Drugs and Pharamaceuticals, won the prestigious Business Leadership Award at the National CSR Summit and Awards as part of the Indian Achievers Forum. The National CSR Summit and Awards is organized regularly by the Indian Achievers Forum for the purpose of bringing people from diverse fields together and giving them a common platform to share their knowledge, experiences, ideas and thoughts as well as to network. This year’s award ceremony was held at the SILVER OAK, Habitat World, India Habitat Centre, New Delhi.

Earlier this year Akums, India’s largest Contract Drug Research and Manufacturing Organization (CRAMS) was awarded with the ‘Indian Pharma Leader Award’ by the Department of Pharmaceuticals, Government of India and has also been featured in the 2016 issue of Next Fortune 500.
Akums offers exclusive services in the field of commercial drug development from the point of formulation till its market launch. Established in 2004 with a single plant today, the organization is working out of 13 manufacturing units across the nation and is producing 12% of India’s current drug supply. They produce all modern dosage forms — tablets, hard gelatin capsules, soft gelatin capsules, powder in sachets, liquid syrups and suspensions, injections, eye/ear drops, ointments, creams, gels, lotions, ayurveda and herbal preparations, nutraceutical and cosmetic preparations. Owing to its leadership contributions in the field of Drugs and Pharmaceuticals the organization has also been recognized and awarded with the ‘Business Leadership Award’.
