Nokia's Lumia 520, Lumia 720, Launch Date And Price Revealed

Bangalore: The two newest Nokia handsets, Lumia 520 and Lumia 720, which saw grand unveiling at MWC, Barcelona, are to hit Indian market soon. Lumia 520 to be launched by end of March and is priced at Rs. 11,599; whereas Lumia 720 to be launched on 27th April and is approximately priced at Rs. 17,000, as said by a source from Nokia Care Center.

Lumia 520 is the cheapest Windows phone by Nokia that runs on Windows Phone 8 platform. It has 4.3 inch IPS LCD capacitive touchscreen with 16M colors at 480x800 pixels resolution and supports multitouch, covered in scratch-resistant glass.
Under the hood it has Dual-core 1 GHz Snapdragon S4 processor which is coupled with Adreno 305 GPU and 512 MB RAM. The handset has 8GB internal memory and the storage is expandable to 64 GB via microSD card.
The device supports, 2G and 3G networks, and Class B GPRS, EDGE up to 236.8 kbps, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth and microUSB.
It has 5 MP, 2592?1936 pixels, autofocus primary camera but lacks secondary camera.
The Li-Ion 1430 mAh removable battery offers up to 14.8 hours (2G) and up to 9.6 hours (3G).
