1. Build Self-Controlled
Roy Baumeister, a social psychologist at Florida State University, conducted a study on mental discipline. The research showed that human beings have a limited mental energy for exerting self-control.
In other words, you will feel exhausted by controlling your urge to spend. Start keeping a track of your spending behaviour, writing in down will be even better, it will definitely help you boost up your self control and will also help you figure out on what exactly you have spent on. McGonigal advices that, “Doing so is effectively ‘exercising’ and therefore strengthening your self-control muscle.”
