2. Where Do Indian Marketers Go Wrong



The marketing expert pointed out few of the mistakes that the Indian marketers commit, among which he said that the Indian marketers do not know how to engage well with the customers' beliefs, values, needs and aspirations.



He pointed out that many marketers at the very initial stage fail to point out their target consumers. The type of consumers the product has been manufactured for. The marketers need to identify the potential consumers and plan strategies accordingly.



The marketing guru further explained that, those marketers who are in the service industry, they need to focus more on employees and sales force, as these are the people who interacts with the consumers and delivers services to the consumers.



He said that all the marketers from each and every sector should follow one prime rule, i.e. to be open to all types of channels of communication. The dangers of complacency will me always there and they should always ask themselves that can their product message be disturbed by the altering technology?
