Lenovo's Yoga 3 Pro Laptop And Tab 2 Hits Indian Market

BANGALORE: Yoga 3 Pro 'ultrabook' notebook, the successor to the Yoga 2 Pro, has now been launched in India with the prices starting at Rs.1,14,990. The newly released Lenovo Yoga 2 Pro that was first released in October in U.S. is now available in the Lenovo Smart Connected Devices store and several Croma retail outlets around the country, reports NDTV Gadgets.?



Furthermore Lenovo that introduced the Lenovo Tab 2 A7-30 at the CES is now been released in the India with the 2G variant at Rs.8,500 and the 3G variant set at Rs.11,800. Lenovo?s lower model Tab 2 A7-10 that was also launched during the time was released last month in India, at Rs.4,999.



The Lenovo Yoga 3 Pro that takes some of its features from its predecessor the Yoga 2 Pro, sports the Lenovo's signature 360-degree hinge design impression. The company stated that the new Yoga 3 Pro features a 17 percent slimmer frame at 12.8mm and also weighs 14 percent less at 1.19kg.



On the display front, the Yoga 3 Pro version features 13.3-inch QHD+ (3200x1800 pixels) display that comes with a Corning Gorilla Glass protection. It is powered by? Intel Core M-5Y70 Processor ( which includes 2 cores, 4 threads, 1.10GHz base clock, 2.6GHz turbo clock, 4MB cache), with Intel HD Graphics 5300.



The gadget operates the Windows 8.1 64-bit or Windows 8.1 Pro 64-bit operating system options, with 8GB of DDR3L 1600MHz RAM, with an option of either a 256GB or 512GB SSD, Wi-Fi 802.11ac, Bluetooth v4.0, and a 4-cell 44.8 Watt hour Li-polymer battery.



For the Lenovo Tab 2 A7-30, it supports Android 4.4 KitKat and showcases a 7-inch display with 1024x600pixel resolution that converts to a pixel density of 170ppi. The Lenovo Tab 2 A7-30 chipset is a MediaTek one with a 1.3GHz quad-core processor supported by a 1GB of RAM. On the camera front the tablet features a 2-megapixel rear camera and a 0.3-megapixel front-facing camera. In terms of the storage capacity the device comes with a 16GB of inbuilt storage which is expandable via microSD card, up to 32GB. Other notable features are Dolby sound technology in the tablet speakers. The tablet measures 90.5x104.1x9.3mm and weighs 269 grams.
