2. Financial Inequality
It’s rare that both spouses meet financially at the same period in their lives that is they earn same chunk of sum, have save savings rate and same debt managements. Hence such financial inequality can be a prime reason of resentment and even jealousy.
It’s very true that men and women have a different perspective about money. And there are other gender based issues as well, like pay gaps, also creates psychological differences between couples. It’s a generalized fact that women are spenders and men are savers and men earns more that women, so money related gender differences exists and are alive.
