Goal: The EGShares India consumer exchange-traded fund (ETF) seeks investment results that correspond (before fees and expenses) to the price and yield performance of the (INXX) India Consumer Index, a 30 stock free-float adjusted market capitalization index designed to measure the market performance of companies in the consumer sector of India.
As the Fund only invests in Indian securities, its NAV is much more sensitive to changes in economic, political and other factors within India than would a fund that invested in a greater variety of countries.
