Markets Moved To Negative Region After Positive Opening

MUMBAI: The 30-scrip Sensitive Index (Sensex) on Wednesday moved to negative region after opening on a positive note during the morning session of the trade.

The Sensex of the BSE after opening at 29,021.06 points, touched a high of 29,022.32 and a low of 28,970.71 points.

On Tuesday the Sensex closed at 28,999.56 points.

The Sensex is trading at 28,991.47 points down by 8.09 points or 0.03 per cent.

On the other hand, the broader 51-scrip Nifty at National Stock Exchange(NSE) opened at 8,950.70 points after closing at 8,946.40 points.

The Nifty is trading at 8,946.40 points in the morning.
