Hathway Cable ends trading with 13.4 percent discount on debut

Mumbai: Hathway Cable and Datacom, a cable television services provider ended the trading at Rs.211, a discount of Rs.12 percent to its issue price of Rs.240. During the day, the stock touched a high of Rs.250, which was the opening price, and touched a low of Rs.204.5.

Overall 74,43,846 shares were traded throughout the day with a turnover of Rs.162 crore on the NSE. On the BSE, Hathway ended at Rs.207.80, down 13.4 percent from its issue price, after seeing day's high of Rs.246 and low of Rs.206.20.
The company had managed to raise Rs.666 crore through IPO of 277.5 lakh equity shares. Selling shareholders like Monet and MSPI Mauritius India received Rs 173.04 crore and Rs.12.96 crore via offering of 72.10 lakh and 5.4 lakh equity shares through the issue.

Hathway Cable is the cable television services provider in India as well as one of the leading cable broadband services providers. It offers analog and digital cable television services across 125 cities and towns and high-speed cable broadband services across 18 cities.
