Bajaj Steel Industries shares gain 20 percent

Bangalore: After having a healthy trading throughout the day, Bajaj Steel Industries ended the day among top gainers with a gain of Rs.44 .95 (20 percent). The company opened the stock at Rs. 225.15 and went on to touch 52-weeks high value of Rs. 269.75. In all 202,158 shares were traded throughout the day with current P/E ratio at 4.39.

Bajaj Steel Industries is an India-based company. The company operates in two business segments: steel division and plastics division. The products manufactured by the company include ginning machine, cotton ball opener, cotton baling press, cotton pre-cleaner, lint cleaner, auto feeder, cotton seed delinting machine, decorticator, hull beater, cotton seed cleaner and linter cleaner. In addition, the company also offers humidification systems, various components, parts and turnkey projects for cotton ginning and pressing plants, and parts manufacturing for automobile and ordinance factories.

Other steel companies also ended the day in green zone with Uttam Galva Steels, Steel Exchange India and JSW Steel gaining 1.08, 0.13 and 3.02 percent, respectively.
