It is possible to find out which place a particular coin was minted at by determining the mark below the date of minting. If the coin has a diamond mark, then it’s made in Mumbai, if there’s no mark then it’s made in Kolkata, if there’s a star sign then it’s minted in Hyderabad and if there’s a dot sign then its minted in Noida.



sd500 And 1000 Rupee Notes Are Banned In Nepal:



Nepal had imposed a ban for 10 years on 500 and 1000 notes upon request from Indian Government since 2003. But, this ban was lifted in December 2013. So, 500 and 1000 are allowed in Nepal now. Nepal and India have agreed in principle to allow circulation of Rs 500 and Rs 1,000 denomination Indian bank notes within Nepalese territory, ending a ban in place for over a decade.



Indian bank notes above Rs 100 were banned in Nepal as per India's request to curb unauthorized trade between the two neighbors.
