Nassim Nicholas Taleb is an essayist whose work primarily focuses on problems of randomness and probability. His book ‘Fooled by Randomness: The Hidden Role of Chance in Life and in the Markets’, deals with the fallibility of human knowledge. In his book Taleb draws his experiences and a Math’s professor as well a professional trader, to provide an add-on of intellectual look to the role of luck in the journey of achieving financial success. Malcolm Gladwell, writer of ‘The New Yorker’ says about Taleb, “We associate the willingness to risk great failure – and the ability to climb back from catastrophe – with courage.
